When two beautiful worlds collide, you get… Nugtella!

I’ve yet to encounter this fantastical hazelnut chocolatey goodness—apparently infused with 320 milligrams of THC from hash oil—at my local dispensary, but I’m willing to give it try when I do! (You really had to twist my arm with that one, btw!)

So far it’s only available in the great state of California. And as BuzzFeed points out, “...all your Nutella recipes just got way more interesting.”

WORD.

The only possible solution, via Nikiia at deviantART

I am of the opinion that if you go to a Farmer’s Market and accept samples, you are effectively making a decision to brave potential pathogens. Yes, I myself accept samples, taking my life into my own hands, not knowing if proper food safety standards have been enforced, or if my fellow citizens have done their due diligence to prevent cross-contamination. This apparently makes me a rebel and a maverick, since an intrepid insider observing the affluent neighborhood of Park Slope seems to think different.

While tasting a sample of a new organic Nutella spread, a woman re-dips her tiny spoon into the jar for another taste, effectively dooming us all to pertussis or Yellow Fever or some such esoteric disease that so frequently befalls generally healthy people in the wealthy neighborhoods of developed countries. I appreciate they made a little joke of it, and took the time to blur out the woman’s face (though I’m sure she’s still mortified if she’s seen this), the passive-aggressive nature of this is beyond my comprehension.

Why not just suggest the vendor spoon out individual servings? Or avoid the product, if you are immuno-compromised, or a germaphobic? Or, I don’t know… suck it up?

Not really much of an exposé, is it?
