The title of this short animation is “First Date With Carl.” Carl is a goddamned hero, IMO. Just watch the video and you’ll soon learn why I rate him so highly.

Here are Carl’s “Life 101” rules if you’re ever faced with fate giving you shit in your pants:

1. Take care of it.
2. Be in charge. 
3. Do what needs to be done.

Memorize it. Say it to yourself over and over. Tattoo it on your wrist if you have to.

Then again, what were his options when you get right down to it?

As a side note: The reddit thread for this video is truly hilarious. A lot of redditors have been through the similar “I shat my pants and lived to tell about it” situation. No one is, er, holding back with their stories, either.
