Take this funky Chicago penthouse apartment for instance that recently went up on the Multiple Listing Service for a cool $158,000. It’s 1,877 square feet, built in 1972 and with its original decor included. Did you hear me? With its original decor included! Apparently—at least according to the Internet so this may not be 100% accurate—the people who owned the apartment never lived really there and therefore didn’t bother to update it. Hence why it’s “untouched” with all its funky psychedelic glory still intact.
