I’m digging this old school Vans sneaker dressed up as Charlie Brown’s iconic shirt. Vans has teamed up with whoever owns the Peanuts trademarks featuring Charles M. Schulz’s iconic characters. Not only is there an ode to Charlie Brown, but there are other Vans showcasing Snoopy, Lucy van Pelt, and the entire Peanuts gang.

Vans Created with vintage artwork from the ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s, the Vans x Peanuts Old Skool combines the iconic Vans skate shoe with sturdy canvas and suede uppers, a Charlie Brown-inspired sidestripe, and an embroidered tongue.

The Charlie Brown sneaker retails for $70 here.

Sweet Calvin and Hobbes handpainted Vans by Laces Out Studios. It’s not entirely clear on their website how much they are or how to order a pair. I’d message them via their “Contact” and hopefully they’ll respond.

“In the town where I was born, lived a man who sailed to sea, and he told us of his life, with his Yellow Submarine Vans…”

As a lifelong wearer of Vans, I’m not entirely sure I’d wear these psychedelic puppies. I can appreciate them, though, as a novelty item and Vans fan.

Perhaps if one of the classic styles showcased the Blue Meanies, then I might seriously have to reconsider…

The Yellow Submarine-themed shoes are around $65 + shipping at the Vans website.

I love Vans. I’ve been wearing them ever since I was 14 years old. Not sure I’d wear these french fry-themed sneakers, tho. In fact, no I would not.

I found ‘em here for $77.00 and here for $49.00. I guess the more expensive pair was fried in extra virgin olive oil?

Update: Here’s an eBay listing.

Spotted by Redditor MikeyBakes in a Jo-Ann Fabrics parking lot. I think this speaks for itself.

Four different R. Crumb shoes are due to hit store shelves on Oct. 1; two in the Vans Classics collections—including the Mr. Natural deconstructed SK8-Hi pictured above ($60) and a classic slip-on featuring Fritz the Cat ($52)—will be available through regular Vans vendors.

Two additional higher-end styles (using suede and leather) will be sold through Vans Vault accounts; a “Modern America” Chukka boot ($95) and a “Keep on Truckin’ ” Authentic ($90).
