Either Farah is being hunted by the Obama administration or else one of the neighbor kids has a remote-controlled airplane and wants to fuck with the head the paranoid old dipshit down the street who is always telling them to get off his lawn…
Joseph Farah, batshit crazy, yes, of course, and apparently badly in need of pharmacological intervention, too, but he’s a great businessman, you have to give him that. I can’t think of another character quite as adept as Farah has been at building a media empire selling thinly-veiled racism coupled with end of the world religious quackery to low IQ buffoons.
It’s an art-form the way he does it. The man knows how to fleece the reichwing rubes like a 21st century W.C. Fields.

I’m subscribed to the daily email letter of the wingnut news service WorldNet Daily, and let me recommend it to you, it’s a never-ending source of zany amusement and bughouse lunacy. A bottomless pit of low IQ buffoonery and shocking cultural, scientific and historical illiteracy (and no, funnily enough, I was not even paid for that endorsement…).
WND is mostly known as the Internet’s “birther central” news service, offering up hot steaming… piles of the exploits of Sheriff Joe Arpaio, Jerome Corsi, Orly Taitz and other “controversial” right wing authors and “researchers” into Obama’s past who you might not want to get stuck sitting next to a plane, let’s just say.
But WND isn’t just an endless ticker-tape of the reichwing id gone totally off its fucking rocker that a black guy is the President, it’s got other fun stuff, too, like a documentary that attempts to prove that the parting of the Red Sea actually occured, hate harpie Pamela Geller’s new book, and my favorite, the work of biblical conspiracy theorist Jim Staley, who offers unconventional explanations of scripture, revealing entirely new interpretations of the word of God.
In his DVD release, Sons of God available in the WND Superstore (a free American flag lapel pin with every order) and being pushed by them with their email newsletters, the earnest-looking Staley goes places where even Glenn Beck fears to tread! (For now at least, expect him to bite Staley’s rap soon, the same way Beck ripped off Alex Jones.)
This is a very in-depth teaching out of Genesis 6 that deals with the term “sons of God.” Jim goes to great length using the Scriptures, the writings of Josephus and other extrabiblical books of antiquity to reveal exactly who the “sons of God” are, who the “Nephilim” are and how it all relates to the End of Days. This teaching pulls together Greek mythology, the La Azazel goat of Yom Kippur, fallen angels, roaming evil spirits and aliens. Not only is this teaching on-the-edge-of-your-seat fascinating, it is scripturally based and riddled with the facts of history.
“Riddled with the facts of history” is an odd turn of phrase—riddled by, maybe—but seems entirely appropriate in this case, doesn’t it?

I was a little disappointed with it. I thought there would be more pictures of things that have been found of giants. It was good information but I wanted more.

Excellent! The word of God is filled with truths that we as christians must study to become more empowered.
Sons of God Book
This subject matter within this book, is slowly becoming more and more completely integrated into the “modern thinking” persons worldview.
Open minds are the key to undertsanding where we are going, and from where and which, we came.
These revelations, or literally, “revealing” of information (rather than disinformation), will eventually lead to full disclosure.
The slow unveiling of the great mysteries, and connections to ancient civilizations (as well as modern technologies) along with advanced studies of near and far space, are showing us the truth about the great questions of man.
It is refreshing to see that such a brilliant young mind such as Jim Staley’s, is beginning to fully comprehend what is happening in our rapidly changing world.
These topics and explanations are quite difficult for the average person to comprehend. Alas, this book takes much of the difficulty out of that equation.
I’ve said it before about them and I’ll say it again. Joseph Farrah and the staff at WND might be batshit crazy, but this doesn’t mean they are bad at business! If you’ve been able to lasso up a large audience of cretins, then give the cretins what they want!

“Red diaper baby” Barack Hussein Obama II plots world domination.
I’ve already blogged here about the zany new Obama conspiracy theory documentary Dreams From My Real Father which puts forth the ludicrous “theory” that President Barack Obama’s father was not a Kenyan goat herder but rather a radical journalist nearly four decades older than his mother who was also an amateur pornographer…
Now the film is causing a rift in the wingnut ranks as “birther queen” dingbat Orly Taitz (and current GOP candidate for one the US Senate seats for California!) accuses WorldNet Daily and author Jerome Corsi (who himself has a lot—everything—riding on the “birther” fantasy) of “working for” someone else. But who?
TPM’s Michael Lester has made a “trash compactor” cut of the film’s kooky highlights (see below). It’s a doozy. Via TPM:
“Dreams From My Real Father,” a 97-minute film narrated by an Obama impersonator, weaves the narrative that Obama’s grandfather wasn’t a furniture salesman but an undercover CIA agent who convinced Barack Obama Sr. to marry his teenage daughter to hide the fact that she was impregnated by a 55-year-old communist named Frank Marshall Davis.
The fake Obama narrator sets up the tale as the “the story I would have told if I were being honest with you.” Built through archival black and white footage, the film’s disclaimer states that it includes “re-creations of probable events, using reasoned logic, speculation, and approximated conversations in an attempt to provide a cohesive understanding of Obama’s history.”
Using that disclaimer, the filmmakers assert that Obama had a nose job ahead of his 2004 run for Senate, that his mother posed for naked photos when she was five weeks pregnant with him and that Bill Ayers nurtured Obama’s career.
The film is produced by Highway 61 Entertainment, the same company behind “Farewell Israel,” “Atomic Jihad” and the mockumentaries “Elvis Found Alive” and “Paul McCartney Really Is Dead.” Director Joel Gilbert, who has spoken at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), writes columns for FamilySecurityMatters.org, a website run by Frank Gaffney’s Center for Security Policy.
The film has been favorably reviewed by WND’s Jerome R. Corsi, who wrote an entire book arguing that Obama’s birth certificate is a fake and that he was really born in Kenya and ineligible to be president of the United States.
But the suggestion that Obama really was born in Hawaii and that his father was an American citizen has some conspiracy theorists upset. Birther queen Orly Taitz is troubled by the film because it undermines the theory that Obama’s father had to be a U.S. citizen for him to be a “natural born citizen” (a qualification which would have eliminated several other presidents). WND and Corsi, wrote Taitz, are “trying to kill the case by making up an American citizen father for Obama.”
“Who are they working for? What incentive did they get to do so? Please, tell Corsi and Farah to stop this. Enough and enough,” she wrote.

This just in via a WorldNet Daily email blast: Apparently, there’s a NEW hot-off-the-presses Obama conspiracy and although it doesn’t even rise to the level of patently ridiculous or highly implausible, that’s never really seemed to be much of a problem for the people at WND.
If you have ever found yourself asking yourself, “Self, just how did Obama become a committed revolutionary Marxist?” then this is the movie for you, Jim-Bob:
“The film provides the first cohesive understanding of Obama’s deep-rooted life journey in socialism, from his childhood to his presidency,” Gilbert told WND.
Gilbert rejects the official story that the Kenyan-born Barack Obama was the president’s father.
Instead, he argues, Frank Marshall Davis, the radical poet and journalist who was a card-carrying member of the Communist Party USA, was the real, biological and ideological father of Barack Obama.
“I decided to investigate Frank Marshall Davis. His close physical resemblance to Obama was shocking, while Obama little resembled the Kenyan Obama,” Gilbert said. “How could this be?”
So that’s where it starts, this supposed “resemblance” (Maybe all black people look alike to the filmmaker?). Gilbert, the director of Paul McCartney Really is Dead, Elvis Found Alive and Bob Dylan’s Jesus Years, then spent “two years of research” looking into Obama’s revolutionary Commie Marxist background and good golly, look what he found!
“I unearthed two film archives of Frank Marshall Davis, one from 1973, the other from 1987, as well as Davis’ photo collection,” he explained. “I then acquired 500 copies of the Honolulu Record, the communist-run newspaper where Davis wrote a weekly political column for eight years.” Gilbert’s research turned shocking when he obtained seven indecent photos of Ann Dunham, Obama’s mother, at Frank Marshall Davis’ house, suggesting an intimate connection between Dunham and Davis.
“I was not happy to include these racy photos in the film but found it necessary to substantiate the intimate relationship between the two,” he said. “Those photos ended up in a men’s mail-order catalog of nude women, likely sold to them by Davis. I placed black bars on parts of the photos to be respectful.”
To establish the foundation for the photos, Gilbert documented that Davis was one of the founders of a photography club in Chicago, known as the “Lens Camera Club,” and that he specialized in nude photographs.
Later in life, Davis also penned a scurrilous, autobiographical sex novel, titled “Sex Rebel: Black,” in which he detailed an illicit sexual relationship with an underage woman named “Anne.” Gilbert believes the name was a thin disguise for Obama’s mother, Stanley Ann Dunham.
Gilbert reconstructs Obama’s autobiography, “Dreams from My Father,” and concludes that the tale of the goat-herding father from Kenya is a cover story, concocted to mask an inconvenient pregnancy.
But hey, wait a minute… Does this mean that the nutjobs at WorldNet Daily—the very home of the O.G. birther movement—are now disavowing the work of their own “ace” Obama gumshoe, Dr. Jerome Corsi???
Maybe not, as Corsi actually blurbs it?
“Deepens the mystery about who Barack Obama really is, and reveals Obama’s deep rooted socialism in past and present. A must watch film!”
Uh, Jerome, but would it not totally invalidate your own conspiracy theories, if it’s true??? Yeah, it would!

The truth, Gilbert argues, is that Barack Obama II was born from the illicit sexual relationship that rebellious teenager Ann Dunham began with Davis after her parents forced her to move to Hawaii.
Gilbert believes that when Dunham first arrived in Hawaii after graduating from high school, she used the sexual relationship with Davis to act out her frustration that her parents would not permit her to fulfill her wish to attend the University of Washington in Seattle with her Mercer Island High School friends.
Dreams of My Real Father takes proven facts and then adds in a few hefty dollops of what director Gilbert apparently describes with a straight face as “reasoned logic and speculation.”
Gilbert states flatly:
“The ‘Birthers’ have been on a fool’s errand. To understand Obama’s plans for America, the question is not ‘Where’s the Birth Certificate?,’ the question is ‘Who is the real father?’”
Being on the mailing list for WorldNet Daily’s email blasts is a never ending source of amusement and material for this blog. This morning was no exception.
Predictably, the rabid WND wingnuts have rallied behind “America’s rock star” (and admitted draft dodger) Ted Nugent and have started a petition to “stand up” for the knuckle-dragging Neanderthal halfwit rocker:
Whereas, Nugent faces an investigation by the Secret Service for allegedly threatening the commander in chief even though he was only using metaphors to accentuate his irrefutable message: America is in deep trouble, and its citizens must act;
Whereas, he, nevertheless, has stood by his remarks and further condemned “power-abusing, corrupt monsters in our federal government that despise” him because he has the “audacity to speak the truth”;
Whereas, Nugent has brought attention to the gravity of this moment in American history by provocatively stating that if Obama remains in the White House he “will either be dead or in jail by this time next year”;
We, the undersigned, wholeheartedly stand behind Ted Nugent and urge all Americans to follow his example and use their own gifts, resources and unique platforms to help ensure that Barack Obama is not given the opportunity to destroy the world’s greatest nation.

You have to hand it to WND, they may be fucking idiots, but they sure know how to sell crap to witless shitheads even dumber than they are. I’m not saying they’re “predatory capitalists,” just that they know their target audience.
For the past week and a half, I’ve been at SXSW and I made a halfhearted attempt to kinda/sorta try to stay away from “news” for that time. I only wanted to get the news via “osmosis” and from scattered clues like newspaper headlines, what people were talking about, snatches seen in passing on TV monitors and so forth. If you ever want to do a full media detox, Austin, Texas during SXSW is a good place to do it, as the distractions are legion.
Nevertheless, avoiding email is a bit more difficult. Recently I signed up for the WorldNet Daily email newsletters because I wanted to read the “report” prepared by Sheriff Joe Arpaio about Obama’s supposedly “forged” birth certificate. Although I could cancel it at any time, I became fascinated by the utterly insane, raving lunatic, foaming-at-the-mouth paranoiac worldview on display at WND—it’s nuttier than anything you’d ever see in the Weekly World News—and 90% of the time when the WND email blasts would come through, I’d inevitably follow the link. Follow that link to a black hole of stunted intelligence, zero common sense and woefully inadequate media literacy…
In the past, I’ve not paid WND, its publisher Joseph Farah, and the other ring-a-dings there much mind. Their “reporting” is so factless and so utterly without value as “information” that it can only be viewed through the filters of entertainment, fiction, low IQ propaganda and gawking at a toxic conservative group-think that’s made America into a dumber, meaner, more aggressively ignorant country in the past decade.
Hulton remembers asking the young man what his plans were for the future.
“He looked right at me and told me he was going to be president of the United States,” Hulton says.
“There was a little bit of a grin on his face when he said it - he sounded sure of himself, but not arrogant. Very simple. This isn’t just your average Bill Ayers story. This one touches on a raw nerve for the media. It touches on the increasing possibility that Obama is not really constitutionally eligible for the presidency after all – a story pooh-poohed by virtually everyone in the media establishment for the last four years.
Nobody in the media wants to see that story turn out to be real after all. No one in the media wants to see that story turn into the biggest cover-up in American political history. No one in the media wants to be perceived as part of that cover-up.
So the cover-up continues – with more players every day.
But at the end of the day, Americans don’t believe the gatekeepers.
Every poll shows the same thing – half the country suspects Obama has been lying, deceiving and conducting this cover-up all along – with the media serving as his willing accomplices.
The fact that something is being ignored is not proof of its importance or suppression. That Farah clearly wants to believe this nonsense so badly that he can do infinite mental loop-de-loops to contort his worldview to a twisted place where everyone else is wrong except for him, Joe Arpaio and Orly Taitz is a display of a certain kind of widespread 21st century American psychosis brought about by the election of a black Democrat to the Presidency. To be able to view such a thing, in such a pure form is very… ridiculous.
Never say never, of course, when it comes to the Democrats, but it seems like the Republican party has set itself up for an epic drubbing this Fall. Will the extreme right-wingers skulk away—chastised at the ballot box and demographically doomed as of the 2016 election—or will they rage even harder and nuttier against the “totalitarian” (or is it Marxist?) Obama “regime”?
