This burnt giant matchstick series, by German artist Wolfgang Stiller, is appropriately titled “Matchstick Men.”

Stiller leaves the interpretation of his art up to the viewer. I see the matchbox as a coffin and the human-size matches as dead bodies. Very Giacometti-esque in a morbid way. I dig it.
