My good pal, NYC-based comedian Greg Barris, wears a lot of hats (and sometimes wigs). When he isn’t slinging pizza at L’Asso, the award-winning downtown restaurants he’s a partner in (best pizza in NYC, but if you don’t take my word for it, the NY Daily News feels the same way), hosting his popular musical/comedy showcase, Heart of Darkness, touring with his teen rock combo, Wigmaker’s Son (yes, Greg’s father makes bespoke wigs, beards and hairpieces), or exposing the Reptilian Agenda, well ladies, he’s getting ready for love in his life. Real, true, love.
The biggest ever Heart of Darkness is tomorrow night at the Bell House in Brooklyn with Barris, Kristin Schaal, Dave Hill and The Forgiveness topping the bill. Information and tickets here.
Below, “Real, True Love” a comedy short by Adam Epstein. Written by and starring Greg Barris.
