The Mindscape of Alan Moore: Full documentary on the writer and magus

Ideally there should be an hour set aside on TV or radio each week for Alan Moore to talk about whatever he would like. Kind of like the late Alistair Cooke’s Letter from America, but this would be a letter from a far more radical and inspiring place, the mind of Alan Moore. This is, of course, unlikely to ever happen for, as Dr. Richard Friday once wrote, “…most modern television is merely wrapping paper for the adverts, and intelligence is a hindrance to selling product.”
Fortunately DeZ Vylenz had the opportunity to make The Mindscape of Alan Moore in 2003. Not so much a documentary in the usual sense, more Magus Moore talking at length as he answers questions on his life, his beliefs, his work, his interest in magic, politics and the apocalypse. The film moves swiftly over his key works to focus on Moore’s personal interests, in particular magic which he sees as the “logical end step to my career as a writer.”
