Speaking of what New York used to be, here’s an interview with Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat, from the UK documentary series, State of the Art. (I was actually at the opening of their collaboration at the Tony Shafrazi Gallery in 1985, it was six days before my 20th birthday).
