Will Yoko Ono ever stop being relevant?

A few weeks ago, we showed you her in-your-face, mindfuck appearance on Letterman, and now she’s dropped a cheeky new video — it’s quite accessible! The song is called “Bad Dancer” and she recruited a bunch of “people it’s impossible to dislike” such as Ad-Rock and Mike D from the Beastie Boys, Ira Glass, Questlove, and Reggie Watts. Those guys are the surefire liberal/hipster click bait, but just for good measure she got Roberta Flack, Cibo Matto’s Yuka Honda and Miho Hatori, and Deerhoof’s Greg Saunier on board too. On her Letterman appearance she had Wayne Coyne of the Flaming Lips armed with a megaphone sitting Indian-style next to her….
As if being John Lennon’s widow isn’t enough, her indie cred is now going to be impeccable.
As a reminder, she’s 80 years old……
