Sexual Trivia board game (1984)
There were many different versions of Sexual Trivia put out after the first one debuted in 1984 from Baron/Scott Enterprises - the same perverted geniuses behind the Dirty Words dice game from 1977.
A sort of deviant play on Monopoly, the first player to collect 100 orgasm dollars, wins. Because, of course they do. On the pamphlet that lists the rules for gameplay, it is recommended that Sexual Trivia NOT be played while riding public transportation. And as you might imagine, there is a pretty good reason why. I wasn’t kidding around when I said this is a board game for folks with a deviant streak. Best enjoyed by those who have no problem admitting they know that the average age of a prostitute in Europe is actually 25 (an actual question straight from the game) and not 19. HA!

Here’s a few examples of the game squares you will encounter on Sexual Trivia Strikes Again (an “Adults Only” version put out by Maryland’s Matscot International in 1984) and the consequences associated with landing on them:
Can’t live without your vibrator? Go to sex therapy clinic
You have a social disease, lose one turn
Premature ejaculator. Go to sex therapy clinic
Learned about sex behind bars. Go to sex education
Caught soliciting. Go to Jail
Jail. Caught in a raid. Lose one turn or give up ten orgasms
Although I really don’t think there’s a need to send someone off to sex therapy because they don’t like spending time away from their vibrator, I find that particular square very amusing. There are also different “sex manuals” that correlated with game squares which contained questions like the “Health and Sexual Deviations” and “People: Western and Other Cultures” from which the player would answer questions such as identifying “what male is able to achieve eight orgasms in a day?” by choosing from the following: a married man, homosexual, teenager, or a prostitute’s client. Zing!
Do YOU know how many people are involved in a “ménage à cinq?” Illustrated Sexual Trivia booklet (from Sexual Trivia Strikes Again, 1984)
If this post has gotten your heart rate up a bit then, congratulations! You’re not dead! The games are pretty easy to come by on sites like Etsy and eBay so if you want to pick one up before you pick up your next European prostitute, it should be pretty easy. Get it?
