Here’s a set of vintage photographs capturing rock stars, punks, and pop royalty playing pinball. Many of these are candid shots, taken on the road during downtime while on tour. Some were taken in such a casual environment that information regarding who took the photo, and when, is scarce.

Delightfully charming video profile of Molly Atkinson, the whimsical curator/proprietor of Pins and Needles, a public arcade in Los Angeles filled with her own amazing pinball machine collection.

Pins and Needles, which boasts 24 vintage pinball machines at a time (the collection rotates in and out), is open to the public on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights from 8pm to midnight. More information at their blog.
