Steam-powered robot from 1870

This photograph of a steam-powered robot was taken sometime around 1870. The robot has human-like head and hands and can actually walk while drawing a supply cart. The engine operates his legs and his hands steer the wheels. His pants are removed in order to show the gears and levers in the legs. The photo was probably used as part of patent application. I would like to own one.
