Last week this awesome “bleeding hand” candle burned up parts of the Internet, and the hand-made piece of wax immediately sold out. So if you missed out on getting one as I did, perhaps my discovery of this realistic-looking “severed hand” candle might make up for that.

At the UK-based Etsy shop In Big Playground run by artist Jenny Gardiner, it says that she can’t bring herself to burn one of her remarkable life-sized candles herself as she has grown somewhat “attached” to them. Given their hefty price tag of $88.66, you might be be inclined to do the same. If the severed hand candle is a bit out of your price range, Gardiner also offers individual “severed finger” candles for $8.87 a piece.
