Donald Trump announces plans to release ‘Alien Files’ after Barack Obama’s revelation
President Donald Trump has pledged to release the Alien Files after Barack Obama revealed that he believes aliens are real during a podcast interview.
“They’re real but I haven’t seen them,” Obama told the host Brian Tyler Cohen, before adding, “They’re not being kept in Area 51. There’s no underground facility unless there’s this enormous conspiracy and they hid it from the president of the United States.”
After the clip from the podcast went viral, as millions around the world felt vindicated in their deep-rooted faith that UFOs exist, Obama walked back his comments and claimed it was nothing more than personal opinion.
In a statement, he clarified his stance, writing, “I was trying to stick with the spirit of the speed round, but since it’s gotten attention let me clarify. Statistically, the universe is so vast that the odds are good there’s life out there.”
The former president added, “But the distances between solar systems are so great that the chances we’ve been visited by aliens is low, and I saw no evidence during my presidency that extra-terrestrials have made contact with us. Really!”
Trump has now seized upon the story. While speaking to reporters on Air Force One, he condemned Obama for claiming that aliens are real, repeatedly stating that it was “classified information” that the former president should have kept to himself.
The president also warned Obama, “He’s not supposed to be doing that. He made a big mistake.”
When asked about his own stance on aliens, Trump replied, “I don’t know if they’re real or not. I don’t have an opinion on it. I never talk about it. A lot of people do. A lot of people believe it.”
Not long after Air Force One landed on the ground, Trump took to Truth Social to declare, “Based on the tremendous interest shown, I will be directing the Secretary of War, and other relevant Departments and Agencies, to begin the process of identifying and releasing government files related to alien and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), and unidentified flying objects (UFOs), and any and all other information connected to these highly complex, but extremely interesting and important, matters.”
Whether these files will ever be released remains to be seen, or eventually appear in a heavily redacted form, remains to be seen. Nevertheless, if Trump comes true on his promise, then the eternal lingering debate over alien existence could finally be settled.
Let’s see if it happens…
