Start-up company claims “zombie cell” pill extends life to 150 years
A Chinese start-up has claimed to have developed a pill in a laboratory that can extend the average human life to approximately 150 years.
The start-up, named Lonvi Bioscience, has revealed that the unique structure of the pill can target “zombie cells” in the body. These are ageing cells that refuse to die and linger, in turn causing inflammation and age-related disease.
CEO Ip Zhu has backed the initiative with a bold message, declaring: “This is not just another pill. This is the Holy Grail.” The company are steadfast in their resolve to make the human lifespan 150 years within the near future.
Strangely, the key ingredient of the medicine comes from grape seeds. The pill has successfully prolonged the life spans of laboratory animals by delaying diseases associated with ageing on a formulaic level.
For the greatest chance of living til the 150-year mark, the pill is best consumed from birth. Otherwise, the start-up shares, people who take the pill partway through their life should, in theory, be able to live up to 120 years.
The stats don’t lie: as per Express, in mouse trials, the company reports that the treatment increased overall lifespan by 9.4%, with a huge 64% extension from the first day of dosing.
This type of experiment has backing from Chinese President Xi Jinping, who reportedly discussed the topic of anti-ageing research with Vladimir Putin.
Jinping has elevated the research to a national priority. This comes hand-in-hand with a mission to improve the quality of life at the same time.
Apparently, the start-up has succeeded so far with the help of biotechnology and Artificial Intelligence. There are yet to be human trials to support these crazy claims, but it appears that it won’t be too long until the start-up sees the possibility closer than ever on the horizon.
