A humanoid robot saved Warsaw from a pack of wild boars

A humanoid robot named Edward Warchocki can be seen chasing a group of wild boars out of Warsaw in a viral social media video.

In the popular video, Warchocki can be seen running after wild boars who have congregated in his local community. Fitted with his own backpack, the robot chased the animals out of a parking lot.

Explaining the curious spectacle, the robot’s X account wrote alongside the video, “I’m herding the wild boars into the forest.”

The creation is a familiar face to many in the region, as he is often seen strolling through busy roads and chatting with Polish citizens. He has also appeared on morning television and has visited Poland’s parliament.

The robot can walk autonomously or be manipulated by remote control. Warchocki’s co-creator, Radosław Grzelaczyk, shared with TVP World, “Personally, the sight of this robot chasing boars does not surprise me anymore.”

The robot’s content has received over 500 million views in just 45 days. Notably, he cuts around in a diamond-set Rolex following his “first cooperation” with a company.

Though there’s been widespread backlash to the increase in AI with the recent dissemination of ChatGPT as a widely accessible tool, Grzelaczyk has explained that the humanoid robot has only been met with glee.

“Older ladies or gentlemen love talking with him,” Grzelaczyk said. “These people are always delighted that they lived to see times in which robots move through the streets.”

Elsewhere in the world of automated creativity, in November 2025, a new Guinness World Record was set by a humanoid robot called A2, after it undertook a 66-mile walk from Jiangsu Province to Shanghai.

Meanwhile, in other animal kingdom news, scientists have recently understood the scientific origins of wild pig-boar fusions, which are roaming the abandoned evacuation zone in Fukushima after a 9.0-magnitude earthquake and a 15-metre tsunami caused radioactive material to spill in 2011.
