The Carpenters were fucking awesome. I say that without a trace of irony. An unintentionally creepy and funny mid-century children’s hypnosis record similar to but not the exact same as the one used by Daniel Miller and Boyd Rice back in 1980 on the LAFMS compilation Darker Skratcher. This cracked my 6 year old up.  Here’s hoping more of these surface !
